If you're thinking of being moody because it's a Monday, hold that thought. Read this post first.
"When people are not raised to discern voices in their head, they don't recognize the voice of the devil. He is a clever deceiver who will come to each one of us and try to speak lies into our minds. We have to be ready for him...Life has much suffering, but too often we suffer unnecessarily because of lies we believe about ourselves and our circumstances..."
As ladies, I'm sure by the end of the day we have more had more than a thousand thoughts, figuratively speaking. If we are truly honest, how many of those thoughts are about God? Praising Him, thanking Him, crying out to Him? Or are the thoughts self centered; the dress you want to buy so that that man you've been eyeing will finally notice you and say hi, or how much you envy your best friend because her family is closely knit while yours is crumbling down. Or something as simple as cursing when your alarm clock goes off at 4 in the morning and you think to yourself, "It's Monday. This is going to be one long day and I don't feel like waking up." Sounds familiar, right?
"Refusing to entertain unrighteousness in your thought life is part of resisting the devil"
Romans 8:6
To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
