"Just because we confess our unforgiveness toward someone one day doesn't mean we won't have unforgiveness in us the next. That’s why forgiveness is a choice we must make every day. We choose to forgive whether we feel like it or not. It's a decision, not a feeling."
Think about that person who stepped on your shoe today, or that person who broke into your house and hurt your loved ones while you watched. I know it sounds unrealistic to simply surrender and say "I forgive you" in the second scenario, but if Jesus forgave those who put nails through his hands and feet, I'm sure we can and have to find strength from God so that we can be as forgiving.
