We then think that we are inadequate before God to use us to
minister to others. We forget that He has made us adequate for His glory. Philippians
2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good
purpose.
With our tongues we destroy so many people’s lives, bringing
destruction and at times we do it so unconsciously because it has become part
of us as it is accepted in our society. Job made a declaration in a time of
utter despair and says, “My lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will
utter on deceit.” He made a choice not to speak evil but to speak words that
bring life. Job 27:4. Make this your prayer today.
